  • Red Forest Jewel are native to Central Africa
  • They have iridescent green to blue spotting on a bright red base coloration. Black spots on their operculum
  • They will become aggressive when they nest and eventually lay eggs
  • The typical lifespan of a Jewel Cichlid is up to 5 or 6 years
