Gold Striped Cardinalfish are suited for the beginner aquarist. It is a peaceful and hardy species and is a great choice for almost any aquarium. It is a small fish species with horizontal yellow to gold stripes across its body. It is an outstanding choice for many aquarists as it is hardy and peaceful with many other species.

This species is native to reefs within the Indonesian and Fijian Islands.

 Also known as the yellow-striped cardinalfish, goldenstriped cardinalfish, or the orange-lined cardinalfish.

The Gold Striped Cardinalfish are best kept in groups of at least 5 to 7. They are reef safe and can get along peacefully with other non-aggressive fish.

Feeding:

Gold Striped Cardinalfish are carnivores so their diet should consist of a variety of live and frozen food. This could include brine and Mysis shrimp, finely chopped clam and krill meat and flake foods.
